Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance emotional and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from these "essential" oils is widely used to stimulate the brain function. Natural oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they pass through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing. The alternative medicine, aromatherapy is for gaining momentum in the body. This therapy is used for a variety of applications including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive functions. A wide variety of essential oils are available with their own healing properties.
